MAS Designs makes a positive impact on the world around us. We are proud that together we have raised more than $75,000 in support of global causes that cause our, and our customers’, hearts to swell.

MAS Designs was born from silk string, gold chain and a desire to make a social impact. In the summer of 2014, Maxine Schwartz created her own version of the Red String Kabbalah bracelet. Without pretense or a plan, the Red String Bracelet become a viral campaign raising $35,000 in just six weeks to benefit struggling families during the war in the Middle East. That’s a lot of $25 bracelets!

MAS Designs is buoyed by a community of givers who carry the same spark of light to do good, that we carry. Together, we have successfully partnered with a yoga studio and raised funds for an Orphanage in Varanasi, India with the sale of our lotus flower necklace. We collaborated with a Not for Profit Camping Program to raise scholarship money for underprivileged children to attend summer camp, with the sale of our unique zip code necklaces. We raised over $30,000 for the Tree of Life Synagogue Community in Pittsburgh, that was the site of a mass shooting in October 2018. Read about our wildly successful program here. Most recently we raised over $11,000 for Covid Relief, and in collaboration with KateKares Foundation. Additionally, we are proud to have raised money for No Place For Hate, a national school program that combats bias and bullying as a means to stop the escalation of hate.

We feel lucky to have found our passion making beautiful jewelry and making people happy to wear it.  If we can make the world more beautiful as well, well that’s a win-win for everyone.

Let’s chat about designing a fundraiser for your passion organization. We can even handle the processing and shipping! Together, let’s make a difference in this world and swell some hearts.
