LOS ANGELES, August 7 2020 -- Tamara Mellon, the women’s luxury footwear brand from the co-founder of Jimmy Choo, sets out to reinvigorate retail by taking the brand’s innovative Mobile Shoe Closet experience back on the road. This marks the second tour of the experiential activation, but this time, they have their sights set on the Hamptons.

From August to October, Tamara Mellon Brand will be popping up in different hamlets spanning from Southampton to Amagansett to Bridgehampton.

The Tamara Mellon Mobile Closet is a 26 ft. open-air truck with floor to ceiling shelving that displays each style in sizes 35-42, allowing customers to effortlessly discover and shop their size.

“The design is meant to remove the friction from shoe shopping — allowing women to see what’s available and try any pairs they want right then and there,” Mellon says. “Once a summer destination for me for many years, I’m confident the women of the Hamptons will instantly love the experience.”

In addition to partnering with local businesses, the brand has teamed up with two local charities and will be donating to Heart of the Hamptons  and Kate Kares both of which support families impacted by the economic fallout from COVID-19.
